Maitreya's Hand

Reports of miracles involving people of all faiths (and those of none) are increasingly reaching the world's media. According to British author and lecturer Benjamin Creme, these are all signs of the imminent emergence of Maitreya, the World Teacher, awaited by all religions, under different names.

This photograph shows the latest, extraordinary, miracle: the handprint of Maitreya Himself, miraculously manifested on a bathroom mirror in Barcelona, Spain. It is not a simple handprint but a three-dimensional image with photographic detail.

First published in Share International magazine (October 2001), the "hand" is a means of invoking the healing energies and help of Maitreya. By placing your hand over it, or simply looking at it, Maitreya's healing and help can be invoked (subject to Karmic Law). Until Maitreya emerges fully, and we see His face, it is the closest He can come to us.

Since July 1977 Maitreya has lived in London preparing for His full emergence. He comes as a modern man concerned with modern problems, not as a religious leader but as an educator in the broadest sense, inspiring the creation of freedom, justice and peace.

To prepare His way, Maitreya has given 140 messages through Benjamin Creme (Messages from Maitreya the Christ, Tara Press). His message can be summarized as: "Share and save the world."

Soon we will see Maitreya on the world's major television networks, and hear His call for sharing and justice as the only way to peace.
