It is with great pleasure that we share with you information about the Emergence of Maitreya—the World Teacher for all humanity. We believe that, in time, Maitreya will be seen as fulfilling the expectations of the world’s traditions, religious or non-religious, for a “Coming One”—whether as Christ, Messiah, the fifth Buddha, Krishna, or the Imam Mahdi. At this time of great political, economic, and social crisis, Maitreya will inspire humanity to see itself as one family, and create a civilization based on sharing, economic and social justice, peace and global co-operation.

Latest developments
Share International Foundation issued a world news release on March 26, 2012 which emphasises the importance of this year, 2012, and explains how the Voice of the People, growing stronger daily, will create extraordinary world change. The release was mailed to Canadian media on March 28th. Below is the main message of the release.
Youth at the helm
This year, 2012, is one of great importance. It is essential that the impetus of the Arab Dawn, and its repercussions worldwide, be not lost. The Voice of the People, so vigorous and confident now, must continue to ring out through all the world, affirming Sharing and Justice as the only way to engender trust and a safer world for all. The remedy for men’s ills is so simple, so easy of achievement, yet so difficult for many to grasp. Men must realise that every other method has been tried and has failed, ending inevitably in war.
Today, let all be assured, another major war would be nuclear, and would destroy, utterly, all life on Earth. Today, also, there are forces who are already planning how best to survive such annihilation, all to no avail. What can, and should, humanity do?
Broadly speaking, the governments today are organisations of elderly men who know no other way to
work and govern than the ways of their youth, the ways of the past. They have little sense of why their
methods no longer work. They know nothing of the new energies and impulses which flood the world today,
and are baffled and betrayed by their inability to control events.
To a large extent, today, the People’s Voice is the voice of the young. Governments, and the media under their control, largely ignore or vilify the voices and aspirations of the young; yet it is the young who have the answers, who understand that humanity is One, who call for fairness, for justice and sharing, and an end to war. The voice of such young people can never be silenced, and will not for long be ignored. The Voice of the People, young and old, will drown the whimpers of the men of money and lead humanity to the New Dawn. So will it be.

The coming transformation
From the depth of its present problems and sorrows, humanity will find hope. So much that is taking place is positive and auspicious for the race that men can be assured of an early lessening of their problems, not all at once, but gradually, little by little. Gradually, also, men will learn the true reasons for their present anguish. They will come to understand that humanity is One, integral and related by long association and common ancestry, related, too, by its common divinity. No more need man fear and fight his neighbour, no longer need millions starve amidst plenty. Thus can be born a new time, a time when Justice and Sharing control the present chaos and irresponsibility, a time when men respect and care for one another, when the divinity of men becomes manifest and the secrets of life known. Sufficiency will replace abundance as the aim of sane men.
Right relationship
Thus will men come into right relationship with each other and with the Source of all. Under the inspiration and guidance of Maitreya and His group men will blossom in their divinity and make that manifest in all they do. The abominations of war and terror will fast fade from their memory, and a vast creative burgeoning will take their place.
Men will renew and beautify their cities, making them worthy of the new time. These will be greater in number and smaller in size, linked by transport, fast and noiseless. People will educate their children in many different ways, each child linked to the educational system as determined by their rays. In time the interchange between the Masters and the race of men will grow in ever increasing closeness, and children will move happily and logically from stage to stage in growing awareness. In all these measures, in this transformation, each one will play his part.
Signs to come
Presently, there will appear a series of signs which will mystify those who experience them. No one will be able to explain this phenomenon but it will presage a change in the thinking and understanding of men. From that time onwards, a sense of expectancy will grip most nations, which will prepare men for the extraordinary events that are to come. As you know, not all men take seriously the new time which lies ahead for mankind. These happenings will prepare more for this revelation.

Maitreya the World Teacher steps forward
Maitreya, the World Teacher, has been based in the Asian community of London since July 1977, gradually emerging into full public view.
Artist, author and lecturer Benjamin Creme has for over 35 years been preparing the way for this extraordinary event.
In December 2008 Benjamin Creme announced that in the very near future a large, bright star would appear in the sky visible throughout the world, night and day, heralding the imminent appearance of Maitreya in His first interview on a major US television programme.
Within weeks reports from all over the world of an unusually bright star, often moving and changing colour, began to appear in the media and on YouTube
On 14 January 2010 Benjamin Creme announced that Maitreya had given His first interview, on American television, and that millions had heard Him speak both on television and the internet.
Benjamin Creme explained: “He was introduced not as Maitreya, the World Teacher and Head of our Spiritual Hierarchy, but simply as a man, one of us. In this way He ‘ensures that men follow and support Him for the truth and sanity of His ideas rather than for His status’. He spoke earnestly of the need for peace, achievable only through the creation of justice and the sharing of the world’s resources.”

Maitreya has now given a series of 59 television interviews [as of March 10, 2012], and more are expected to take place in the Americas, Japan, Europe and the rest of the world. Maitreya’s open mission has begun.

Spiral Light in Australia
The spiral light seen across eastern Australia in the early morning of 5 June 2010 (over Queensland, Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra) has been confirmed by Benjamin Creme’s Master to be the ‘star’ which heralds the emergence of Maitreya, the World Teacher, into full public recognition.
Scientists are attempting to explain away this latest spiral phenomenon as the effects of the launch of a private space rocket at Cape Canaveral, USA, just as the Norwegian spiral ‘star’ was explained away as being a failed Russian rocket.
Witnesses and many other commentators have pointed out that this spiral light is reminiscent of the spiral formation which appeared over Norway in December 2009 and which was confirmed by Benjamin Creme’s Master to have been the ‘star’ heralding Maitreya’s emergence. At the time, Benjamin Creme’s Master also noted that many more such spectacular celestial signs could be expected.
